CASE STUDY
In response to European marketing authorisation for a new medicinal product, this UK organisation was provided the opportunity to commercialise the company’s products in Ireland. The team were highly experienced in pharmaceutical practices in the UK, and the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice, but were not familiar with working in Ireland.
The client wanted to ensure all members of staff who would be involved in commercial activities in Ireland were aware of the specific jurisdictional requirements in Ireland. Training was required that would address the activities that marketers, medical representatives, medical science liaisons and signatories would be involved with. The training needed to be informative and practical.

CASE STUDY
We provided customised training via Zoom to the full team that introduced the legislative and self-regulatory framework in Ireland. Using practical examples we demonstrated variances in national requirements and practices so the team felt equipped to localise assets for use in Ireland, and to develop material suitable for use in both jurisdictions. Various Code and regulatory enforcements were discussed to ensure the client is well informed about the landscape in Ireland and how it differs to the UK. The client is confident that they are fulfilling all the necessary external requirements, and maintaining all records required.
