Project Background

Our client had previously been involved in correspondence with the HPRA about an advisory board that the HPRA had concerns with. Due to this difficult situation, the company wanted to engage in expert advice and support to ensure that the advisory board was meaningful, was clear on its objectives and was managed efficiently.

The client approached Pharma Integrity and requested that we partner with them to provide end-to-end support. This would ensure the internal objectives were fulfilled whilst also satisfying the external specifics required by the HPRA.

Our Solution

We worked with the client to specify the objectives of the advisory board and determine the need to bring a collective of Irish experts together to address the company’s questions. We established an agenda and discussion points along with key assets required to prompt inputs. We worked with the internal team to confirm the profile of expert required before identifying individuals. The Pharma Integrity team managed the notification of the advisory board to the HPRA, invitation process, contracting, and provision of pre-read material to all participants. We provided comprehensive briefing documents to all participants and the meeting chairperson, and held a briefing meeting with the chairperson and internal medic to align on how the meeting would be conducted. We secured the meeting room, and logistics for attendance of participants from different parts of the country. We provided a medical writer during the meeting who produced a detailed post-meeting report to the client. We closed the project by ensuring the client had a full repository of all necessary records required.
