Project Background

Our client was in the pre-commercialisation of a product when they first approached Pharma Integrity in 2019. They wanted to ensure that when they received marketing authorisation for their first medicinal product, they would have appropriate systems and processes in place to ensure healthcare compliance responsibilities for their operations across Europe. As they were headquartered in the UK, the ABPI Code was applicable to all activities led by the European HQ.

Client Objectives

The client’s needs evolved over time. Initially a core compliance framework needed to be established with new processes created as the company’s activities developed. Later the company required support to develop their first commercial campaign, and respond to queries raised by medical and commercial teams in the field. Due to the speed and changing nature of activities at this stage of a product’s lifecycle, the client required a consultancy that were prepared to respond rapidly and provide support that could vary dramatically depending on what the current need was.

Our Solution

Internal resource was initially restricted, so we worked closely with all internal stakeholders as extended members of the company team, with different Pharma Integrity consultants providing different types of support. We now provide mentorship and customised support to the European Compliance Lead, signatory services to the commercial brand team, and act as secretariat for the company’s Grants and Donations Committee. We understand the business and its needs, and are happy and willing to respond to evolving requirements to help them provide a world-leading treatment to patients.
